| Description: | K Curec K Curec is a non-degrading, resin based suitable for spray application to freshly poured concrete. K Curec is available as an aluminum colored liquid. Conforming to ASTM C- 309 Type – A. USES Surfaces subject to finishing treatments. Economical enhancement of concrete flat work. In high rise constructions to eliminate the requirement for water. ADVANTAGES Eliminates the need for water. Imparts a harder dust free surface. Non degrading, acts as a primer system High curing efficiency. Reduced labour costs. Reduces chloride penetration. Does not support the growth of bacteria. Application INSTRUCTIONS K Curec should be applied 5 to 6m2 / 1 litre of surface area. A single spray-applied coat is sufficient. Ensure that all spraying equipments is cleaned thoroughly with white spirit immediately after use. For horizontal surfaces spray on K Curec as soon as any excess water has dried off. This is usually within 30 minutes of finishing. Vertical surfaces should be wetted with water after stripping the K Curec should not be applied to dry or semi-dry concrete. After application of the K Curec membrane, the surface should be left undisturbed for at least 3 hours. Standard precautions should be taken during cold weather to protect the concrete from frost damage. | |
